D&T Prominas | Sigma: Parameterization Curve.
Did you know that the MinePlan Do you have its own tool to perform statistical and geostatistical analysis of all your data?
O Sigma is the ideal solution to validate and parameterize data. You can view data from tables, from database MPTorque and the 3D block model.
The tool allows the creation of statistical graphs such as histograms, Box Plots, Scatter Plots, for example, as well as geostatistics such as variographic maps and Contact Plots.
An important analysis is carried out from the Tonnage Curve Grid, the parameterization curve. This curve is used to determine a cut-off grade value to be used in the mining operation.
Figure 1: Top menu of Sigma
to generate a Tonnage Curve Grid, just select the icon on the top bar, assign a name to the graph and then select the data source to be analyzed and the content to be parameterized.

To refine the results, you can apply filters and different weights to the data, as well as adjust the display of the data to better visualize and make the most accurate decisions.
