In today's Tips & Tricks, we're introducing Hexagon Mining's newest implicit geological modeling tool | MineSight.
Launched during PDAC 2017 in Toronto, GeoLogic is used to validate, understand and interpret geology. With it you produce a geological model ready to code the block model. You can also quickly and accurately explore various scenarios of different interpretations and build complex shapes directly from holes, and keep them up to date with new data.

The tool offers a geological modeling approach with an intuitive interface and workflow. It is easy to use and easy to learn, with complete user control, creating reproducible and auditable models. GeoLogic uses algorithms and calculations designed to handle complex types of structural and lithographic information, as well as harnessing the power of modeling implied by sequencing surfaces and solids to create a hermetic geological model.
It is fully integrated with MineSight Planning Suite and provides time-saving, intelligent modeling to users. The tool is integrated with MSTorque for continuous updates from new hole information. GeoLogic features an intelligent stratigraphic layering and veining methodology based on MineSight's true thickness functionality.

GeoLogic automatically manages faults and mismatches and is powered by the industry standard Radial Base Function (FBR or RBF). The tool enhances our versatile geology solution by allowing geologists to easily move and store data securely, performing data interpretation, statistics and interpolations with built-in functionality.
It deals with faults and complex geology, branching veins and stratigraphic layered deposits. In addition, it supports weathering, nonconformity and intrusions.

GeoLogic allows you to build a geological timeline, with all the different events in your deposit, in a proper sequence. It works with a geologist's vision in a much simpler, more intuitive and detailed way. And the best thing is that this tool allows you to create different models for the same warehouse, allowing you to compare, interpret and make better decisions about the data.
